GST Registration and Returns

FinAura registers your business for GST and files your returns every period. Before each return, sales are checked against your books and purchases against GSTR-2B, so the tax you pay and the credit you claim are both right. A Chartered Accountant reviews every return before it is filed.

  • Led by Chartered Accountants
  • GST and income tax in one team
  • Bangalore and across India

A common question

GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B: what is the difference?

GSTR-1 reports your sales invoice by invoice; your customers' credit depends on it. GSTR-3B is the summary return where you work out the tax, claim credit and pay the balance.

The two have to agree with each other and with your books. Differences lead to notices, so we match them every period, not at year-end.

Questions we get asked

GST Questions, Answered

Who needs GST registration?

Businesses whose turnover crosses the GST limit, and some businesses regardless of turnover, such as many inter-state suppliers and sellers on e-commerce platforms. We confirm what applies to you.

What documents are needed for GST registration?

PAN, proof of address of the place of business, identity and address proof of the owners or directors, the business's constitution document and bank details.

How often are GST returns filed?

Monthly for most businesses, quarterly for smaller ones that opt for the quarterly scheme, plus an annual return. We set up the right cycle for you.

Can I claim credit if my supplier has not filed?

Generally no. Credit depends on the supplier reporting the invoice and paying the tax, which is why we match purchases to GSTR-2B every period.

Do you file returns for businesses outside Bangalore?

Yes, across India. GST is filed online, and we handle registrations in every state you operate in.
