E-Invoicing and E-Way Bills

FinAura checks whether e-invoicing applies to you, sets it up inside Zoho Books, Tally Prime or your billing tool so every invoice gets its IRN and QR code, and makes sure an e-way bill is issued whenever goods move. Your GST returns then fill themselves from the same data.

A common question

What happens if an invoice is not e-invoiced when it should be?

It is not treated as a valid invoice. Your customer may not get input tax credit, and penalties can apply.

That is why we set e-invoicing up inside the software that raises the invoice, so it cannot be skipped.

Questions we get asked

E-Invoicing Questions, Answered

Who must issue e-invoices?

Businesses whose aggregate turnover crosses the limit notified by the government. The limit has been lowered over time, so we check it each year.

When is an e-way bill needed?

For movement of goods above the value limit, whether for sale, transfer or job work, subject to the exceptions in the rules.

Can e-invoicing work inside Tally Prime or Zoho Books?

Yes. Both can generate IRNs directly, so invoices are registered as they are created.

Can an e-invoice be cancelled?

Within a short window after generation, through the portal. After that, a credit note is needed.
