Advisory and Special Projects: Due Diligence, CMA Data and Family Business
Some finance work is a project, not a monthly routine: checking a business before you buy or invest in it, restructuring debt or operations, preparing the numbers a bank needs for a loan, or helping a family business set up the rules that keep it together. FinAura's Chartered Accountants take these on as defined projects with a clear scope.

What We Handle
Advisory & Special Projects, Piece by Piece
Due diligence, restructuring, CMA data and family business advisory, scoped as projects. Move along the list to see what each piece covers.
Quality of earnings, working capital, debt, contingent liabilities and compliance reviewed before an acquisition, investment or partnership.
Cost structure, debt and cash flows reworked for a business under strain, with a plan lenders and owners can agree to.
CMA data, projections and project reports prepared the way banks expect them, with assumptions that stand up to questions.
Financial statements, projections and supporting schedules assembled for working capital and term loan applications. We prepare the case; we do not promise approval.
Ownership structures, roles, compensation, family constitutions and succession, with the numbers to support each decision.
Workings for a sale, a partner exit or a share transfer, coordinated with practising professionals where a certified valuation is required.
Designing and staffing the finance function of a company that has outgrown its accountant.

Questions We Get Asked
Frequently Asked Questions
What does financial due diligence cover?
Usually the quality and sustainability of earnings, working capital needs, debt and debt-like items, contingent liabilities, tax and compliance exposure, and the reliability of the financial information. The scope is set to the deal.
What is CMA data?
CMA data is the set of financial statements and projections, in a format prescribed by banks, used to assess a working capital or term loan application. Banks look at past performance, projected cash flows and the ratios that show repayment capacity.
Do you guarantee loan approval if you prepare the CMA data?
No. We prepare accurate, well-supported CMA data and project reports and help you answer the bank's questions. The lending decision is the bank's.
What does family business advisory involve?
Clarifying ownership and roles, agreeing how family members are paid and promoted, planning succession, and sometimes drafting a family constitution, with financial analysis behind each decision.
Do you do valuations?
We prepare valuation workings for internal decisions and coordinate with practising professionals where a certified valuation report is legally required.
