A common question

What do investors look at in diligence?

Whether the revenue is real and recurring, whether the books reconcile, whether taxes and filings are up to date, and whether the cap table and past share issues were done properly.

Fixing these during a live deal is slow and expensive. Doing it beforehand shortens diligence and avoids price chips.

Questions we get asked

Fundraising Readiness: Questions, Answered

Do you find investors for us?

No. We prepare your finances and support you through diligence and closing; we do not broker deals or promise funding.

How early should we start?

Ideally a few months before you plan to raise, so clean-up is finished before conversations begin.

What goes in a startup data room?

Company documents, cap table, financial statements and MIS, tax and compliance filings, key contracts, IP and employee records, organised by topic.

Do you handle the share issue filings?

Yes, through our ROC compliance team: board and shareholder resolutions, allotment filings and FEMA reporting for foreign investors.
