Accounting & Bookkeeping
FinAura uses AI for the repetitive parts of accounting. AI reads invoices and bank statements, sorts transactions, matches entries to your books and flags anything unusual. A Chartered Accountant reviews every output before it reaches you, so you get faster books without giving up judgement.
What is covered
The repetitive work, done fast; every judgement call left to people.
Invoices, bills and receipts read automatically, with vendor, date, amount and GST captured.
Bank and card lines sorted into the right ledgers based on how your business has been booked before.
Bank entries matched to invoices and bills, so receipts and payments land against the right documents.
Duplicates, unusual amounts and out-of-pattern entries flagged for a person to check.
A Chartered Accountant reviews the output, corrects what is wrong and signs off the month.
Results posted to your Zoho Books or Tally Prime, so the books stay yours.

A common question
AI is good at volume: reading documents, sorting hundreds of bank lines and proposing matches. It is not good at judgement: deciding whether an expense is capital or revenue, whether a payment is a loan or income, or what the tax treatment should be.
So AI does the first pass and people do the rest. Every exception goes to a member of our team, and a Chartered Accountant reviews the month before anything reaches you.
See software and automationWho it is for
Hundreds or thousands of transactions a month, where manual entry is slow.
Many small receipts and settlements that follow a pattern.
Lean teams that want current books without a large accounts team.
Where duplicates and misclassified entries keep surfacing at audit.
The rules, in plain English
Companies Act, 2013
Every company keeps books of account that give a true and fair view of its affairs, at its registered office or another place the Board decides, and preserves them for at least the eight financial years before the current one.

Books kept electronically must stay accessible in India at all times, with a daily back-up on servers physically in India. For financial years starting on or after 1 April 2023, the accounting software must keep an audit trail of every change that cannot be switched off.
Official source: mca.gov.inCGST Act, 2017
Every GST-registered business keeps its accounts and records at its principal place of business and retains them for 72 months from the due date of the annual return for that year, or longer while an appeal or proceeding is open.
Official source: cbic-gst.gov.inIncome-tax law
Businesses and professions above the prescribed limits must keep books of account, and a tax audit follows above further limits. The limits change from time to time, so we confirm which apply to you before the year starts.

Questions we get asked
Using AI to read invoices and bank statements, sort transactions into ledgers, match entries and flag anything unusual. At FinAura, a Chartered Accountant reviews every output before it reaches you.
No. AI handles volume; people handle judgement, tax treatment and advice. Our model is AI for the first pass, people for exceptions, and a Chartered Accountant for review.
Yes. The results are posted into your existing Zoho Books or Tally Prime, so you keep your software and your data.
Your books stay in your own accounting software. Access is given to named people, and you can see and remove access at any time.
For routine entries it is consistent and fast, and it is good at catching duplicates. Accuracy comes from the combination: AI first, people for exceptions, and a CA review every month.
No. It usually keeps costs steady as volumes grow. After a short call we send a fixed monthly quote.
