Mapping
Tally ledgers to a new chart.
“where numbers align with narratives”
Software & Automation
FinAura moves your accounting from Tally to Zoho Books without losing the thread: ledgers mapped to a better chart of accounts, customers, vendors and items moved, opening balances and open invoices and bills carried across and reconciled to Tally, a clean cut-over date chosen, and your team trained on the new system. Tally data stays archived for reference and audit.

A common question
At the start of a financial year is cleanest, because only closing balances move. A mid-year move works too, with opening balances at the end of a month and open items carried across.
Whichever date you choose, the test is the same: the trial balance, receivables and payables in Zoho must match Tally on the cut-over date.

The rules, in plain English
Companies (Accounts) Rules, 2014
Accounting software used by companies must keep an audit trail of every change that cannot be switched off, and books kept electronically must have a daily back-up on servers in India.

Questions we get asked
Zoho offers import tools; most migrations still need mapping and clean-up so the result is usable and ties out, which is what we do.
Usually only balances and open items move; past transactions stay in the archived Tally data for reference and audit.
It depends on data volume and clean-up needed; we agree a plan with a cut-over date.
Briefly, for comparison, but a clean cut-over date avoids double work and confusion.
