A common question

Why does MSME registration matter for getting paid?

The MSMED Act requires buyers to pay registered micro and small enterprises within a fixed period, with interest if they pay late, and gives a route to recover overdue amounts.

Telling your buyers your Udyam number, and putting it on invoices, makes that protection count.
